Today I'm doing something a bit different than what I usually do. I will not write a post about gaming but about something that I've been using to write and plan my blog posts in the last couple of days. So, today I bring you an InfiniteBook review.
WHAT'S AN INFINITEBOOK?
Last weekend I was shopping in FNAC and my girlfriend brought my attention to this new re-usable notebook called InfiniteBook. I was a bit skeptical but intrigued by it so I decided to purchase the cheaper option, an A6 InfiniteBook that came with its own pen for 7,99€.
As soon as I left the store I opened it immediately and was surprised to find out that each page was like a miniature whiteboard! ''This won't work! As soon I write and close it everything will smudge,'' I said to my girlfriend. So, I grabbed the pen, wrote a couple words and waited for the ink to set for 6 seconds like the instructions said. Then I proceeded to pass my finger through the ink and to my surprise, it wasn't smudging! It only smudged a little once when I used a bit more strength.
I could see that when the ink sets it would stay there but what about cleaning it? I tried using the rubber tip on the pen and to erase small bits it works quite well. You can use it to erase an entire page but it takes a lot of time and effort and it might leave some smudges on the pages. So, what's the best way to clean it?
I went to their website and they say that the best option is to use a wet cloth or use their cleaning kit, which I don't have. I ended up using a spare lens cloth and it worked great! In a matter of seconds, I had cleaned an entire page and no traces of ink were left behind!

By now you can probably see that I'm already a fan of this eco-friendly notebook, however, I do have a slight concern with the pen itself. It might be just a case of misinformation on my part but I don't know if their pen is re-usable or not and as of now I don't know how long it lasts. Also, since they recommend only using their pen I'm afraid to purchase a different re-usable one and ruin my precious InfiniteBook!
But despite this, I'm really taken by this idea of re-usable notebooks and I don't think I'll ever go back to regular ones. I'm already contemplating on purchasing a bigger one with lines and a couple more pens! I just hope they can bring to the market their own re-usable pen since it would fit their concept perfectly!
